Olivia's Awesomeness

Olivia is awesome.  She asks such amazing questions that make me think on both incredibly simple and profound levels.  Her mind works in ways that we are still trying to understand.  There are many ways in which she is awesome, amazing, hilarious and downright OCD and one of the best examples of this is the way she tells us goodnight.  It's actually a long and complicated process, I'm sure of which is laid out in a complex mathematical formula in her mind.  But, for your benefit, I have recorded ONLY the origination of the process that started months and months ago, primarily when Harris was up all night screaming.  It started with "Goodnight, sleep tight" and she went all Olivia on it from there.

"Goodnight, sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite, don't let Daddy snore, baby cry, baby throw up, baby spit up, baby get up, you get up, me get up, Daddy get up, anyone get up, have good dreams not bad dreams, love you, Goodnight."

Olivia has always talked well for a kid, almost creepily well.  This means that I absolutely savor the few things she does misprounounce.  Neil will correct her sometimes and I get really upset because I know all too soon she won't do it anymore.  But for now, some of them are:

"Mederef" - Meredith
"Bumember" - remember
"Opposed to" - supposed to
"Unrase" - erase
"Morote" - remote (this one has corrected itself in the past day)
"Meanted" - meant to
"Chiwala" - Chihuahua

I have to document these things because the girl already corrects my grammar and will certainly think she's smarter than me soon.  But just so you know Tooke, I'll always bumember this time with you.
