MOOSE

We now call Harris "Moose" because he isn't happy unless he is aggressively pursuing something...like picking up a 2x4 or rake.  I know this may not seem like any big feat, but the man just learned how to balance himself on those tiny biscuit feet, much less drag around a large object.  He is typically so dead set on a "moosing" task that he cries/screams from frustration.  You can tell because each time he cries, he immediately stops if he is able to get his hands back on the 2x4 or rake.  Please notice how upset he gets when Neil tried to teach him or help him.  This is a very typical Harris move.  We always pretend he says, "Let me make my own mistakes!"

PS - Yes, I was afraid he was going to hurt himself, drop the 2x4 on his feet, stub his chunky toes when he blew his shoes off or faceplant.  But, what you may not know about Harris is that he would cry much less at getting hurt than if you were to prevent him from performing a "moose" task.  Of course I don't let him "moose" everything he wants (ie - the mower or the hammer like he also wanted to), but the benefits outweighed the risks here.
