She quickly became a part of the family as she grew, and it has remained that way ever since.

She was taken everywhere from picking up Landon at school, to daily trips fishing with Dad at the Boathouse, to the mountains and even on family vacation with us one year. Everyone knew when a car was coming because she sounded the alert. The entire neighborhood knew/knows of Bouncer in all her glory. I'm sure she knows a few of all her "siblings" secrets.

Even when Neil and I were married and got a puppy of our own, she did her best to welcome him during holidays, even through ridiculous Christmas sweaters.
She's been there for both Caroline and Olivia, letting them pull on her ears, and ride her. Never showing any aggression to either of them, and being completely tolerant to their relentless affection.

She still had spunk in her old age, still gracefully laying in her favorite position against the couch. My favorite analogy of Bouncer was made by Oliver, Andrea's boyfriend: If Bouncer was a human, she'd be a crusty old lady with a gruff attitude and a smoker's voice, ha ha ha!
Bouncer did not live as long as anyone had wanted. Sadly, she suffered from a brain tumor that really affected her in the past few months. My poor mother, or Bouncer's poor mother that is, took care of her like an infant as she had seizures, accidents, drooling, biting herself, etc. Today, Mom, Dad, Andrea and Landon made the best and hardest decision they could make which was to allow Bouncer peace. She was burried at the boathouse, with all her favorites, including a jar of peanut butter.
We Love You Bouncer.
